BYZANTINE MUSIC

One of the ministries of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago is the School of Byzantine Music. Lessons in Byzantine Music are given by the clergy in several communities including Saint Spyridon's. Both adults and children are taught to read Byzantine Music notation and are trained to be chanters for our parishes. Lessons are offered free of charge.
